Eucalyptus tea is such an amazing natural remedy and so easy to make. The weather is starting to change here, so that means colds are going to start going around and flu season is here.
At least they are pushing the vaccine. I am not going to get into that controversy, except that the vaccine doesn’t always match the flu strains. So use Eucalyptus tea to beat that cold and flu.
Eucalyptus grows in many places in the U.S. I don’t even have my own tree and I got leaves to make this tea. There is a whole row of them growing by my son’s school. Kind of like a row of medicine trees.
If you are into natural things, you know what I mean. I just asked permission to pick a few branches. Usually these trees grow so big that those branches will never even be missed.
First, wash a handful of leaves and put them in a pan to boil. Once your water is boiling, turn off the burner. Let the leaves steep for 15 minutes with the lid on. This ensures all the oils of the eucalyptus don’t escape in the steam before you can ingest them. This is very important!
